We are seeking a LocumsMaternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to provide weekend call and clinicalcoverage in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatientclinic and inpatient consultative care in a high-acuity, collaborative practicesetting.
Position Details:
- Schedule:
- Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM
- Clinic Hours : 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM
- Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 27 scheduled patients per day
Clinical Scope &Required Skill Sets:
- High-risk obstetric care, including management of:
- Pre-eclampsia and hypertension
- Multiple gestations
- Fetal growth restriction
- Preterm labor
- Thrombophilia and genetic disorders
- Chromosomal and congenital abnormalities
- Maternal and fetal co-morbidities
- Procedures include:
- Amniocentesis
- Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
- Cerclage (preferred)
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Completion of an accredited MFM fellowship
- Active Virginia medical license
- BLS certification
- AIUM certification preferred
