Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Hematology Oncology provider for full-time coverage at a comprehensive, community-based Cancer Center. This role involves a blend of ambulatory clinic care and hospital consultations, supported by a robust onsite multidisciplinary team.
- Start Date: June 29, 2026
- End Date: October 30, 2026
- Schedule: Monday Friday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
- Call Requirement: 1:3 or 1:4 rotation (specifically when other providers are off).
- The Team: 2 MDs and 3 NPs on staff.
- Facility: Community-based center with onsite Radiation Oncology.
- Infusion Center: 18 Chemo infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo chairs.
- Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies can be performed directly in the Cancer Center ( Bone marrow biopsy proficiency is preferred ).
- Consults: Providers will see both ambulatory (clinic) and hospital patients.
- EMR: Cerner
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) State License.
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE).
- Life Support: ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications are required.
- Credentialing: 60-day timeline.
- Continuity of Care: Seeking one provider to cover the full duration from late June through October.
- Supportive Environment: Collaboration with a seasoned team of NPs and fellow MDs.
