Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician Location: Eau Claire, WisconsinAssignment Availability

• Dates: June 29, 2026 - October 30, 2026
• Coverage Needed: Full-time (late June through October)
• Schedule:
  • Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Call: 1:3-1:4 (when a provider is off)
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Licensure & Certifications

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Required)
• Fellowship: Hematology/Oncology (Required)
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • ATLS
  • BLS

Clinical Responsibilities

• Community-based Cancer Center
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per shift
• Patient Types: Ambulatory and hospital consults
• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies preferred (performed onsite)

Practice & Facility Details

• Staffing Model: 2 MDs and 3 NPs
• Infusion Center:
  • 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs
  • 2 non-chemo infusion chairs
• Radiation Oncology services available onsite
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level: III
