Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join a dynamic and innovative healthcare team in the heart of Royal Oak, Michigan. Our facility is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to support our Ambulatory Surgery Center. Located in one of Detroit's most vibrant suburbs, Royal Oak offers a lively atmosphere with a rich selection of restaurants, nightlife, concerts, and attractions like the Detroit Zoo.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for surgical and medical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings.
  • Collaborate with the Anesthesia team to establish the anesthetic plan and manage all aspects of anesthesia care.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care.
  • Conduct patient education and provide individualized care based on clinical needs.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and accurately document all care provided.
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, age-specific care for diverse patient populations.
  • Support a positive working environment and foster effective communication among the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses.
  • At least 2 years of CRNA work experience (excluding RN or training).
  • Up-to-date BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Strong documentation and patient assessment skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Must have an active Michigan license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Requires up-to-date COVID-19 and annual flu vaccinations.
  • Must have clean malpractice/license history and complete a health screening as per facility policy.
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to starting the role.
