Henry Ford Medical Center - Fairlane in Dearborn, MI is calling experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to become integral members of our healthcare team. Conveniently located in the heart of metro Detroit, our medical center provides high-quality care to nearly 2 million residents, offering a modern, well-equipped facility dedicated to patient well-being.
Job Responsibilities:- Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for various medical and surgical procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical team members to create effective anesthetic plans.
- Provide leadership and support in the professional practice setting.
- Facilitate a healthy work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding patient care and anesthesia services.
- Educate staff, patients, and families regarding anesthesia processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
- Board Certification from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
- Active Michigan nursing licenses.
- Minimum of two years of CRNA experience (excluding RN or training).
- Current in BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain).
- Clean malpractice/license history.
- Ability to work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and healthcare providers.
- Active Michigan nurse and specialty licenses must be in hand.
- Up-to-date COVID and flu vaccinations are required.
- DEA certification and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
