Job Description:
Pay Range: $19.93hr - $22.16hr- The Patient Services Representative II represents the face of the organization to patients who visit as part of their health routine or for important health decisions.
- This role is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures.
- The position involves direct patient interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, and performing all duties in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
- Assignments may include work at a doctor s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and professional working environment.
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
- Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct specimen labeling.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call schedules, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license, if applicable.
- Ability to travel and work across multiple locations with minimal notice.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Strong customer focus with clear and professional communication skills.
- One to three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard and data entry experience required.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
