is seeking a
Graduate/Senior Staff Geotechnical Engineer
to join our team in our new office in
Austin, Texas . The ideal candidate will support geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting for a range of infrastructure and development projects. Key Responsibilities
Conduct geotechnical field investigations and engineering analyses Develop boring layouts and coordinate utility clearance Supervise drill rigs and field staff Classify soils; log borings, test pits, and cores Perform floor level surveys and geotechnical testing/observation services Review project plans and technical specifications Prepare geotechnical reports, letters, and technical documentation Coordinate laboratory testing programs Perform geotechnical engineering calculations, including: Slope stability analysis Dynamic settlement analysis Qualifications
B.S./B.A. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering required M.S. in related field preferred E.I.T. and ability to take and pass PE within 6 months Minimum 3+ years geotechnical engineering experience (consulting preferred) Strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organization, problem-solving, and time-management abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Seniority Level
