Accounting and Credit Specialist . Full-time or Part-time candidates will be considered. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and have strong communication skills. The role involves bookkeeping and accounting, evaluating financial statements, assessing risk factors, drafting narratives and memorandums, structuring financing solutions, and preparation of loan documents. The job is in Indianapolis, IN.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting
Preparing monthly company financial statements.
Calculate and prepare monthly Bank Compliance Statements per loan document terms.
Periodic monitoring of changes in loan terms to borrowers.
Preparing Quarterly & YE financial statements.
Monthly Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts.
Multi-Company Consolidation of Financial Statements.
Calculate and maintain absolutely accurate and up-to-date records of distributions to company lenders.
Monitor loan balances for each of FB-Stark’s bank, Individual Lenders & founders.
Occasional communication with company borrowers.
Act as the primary contact to coordinate with outside accounting firm on YE financial statements and tax returns.
Occasional communication with banks.
Loan Services
Credit & Financial Analysis:
Collect financial information from borrowers, evaluate financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and credit reports to assess loan merits.
Narrative Drafting:
Draft loan Narrative summarizing proposed loan transactions for review by bank partners.
Loan Structuring & Underwriting:
Assist in structuring financing solutions for billboard acquisitions, refinancing, and working capital needs while ensuring compliance with Stark Capital Solutions' lending policies.
Documentation & Reporting:
Draft loan documents and help facilitate collection of executed documents and delivery to bank partners.
Borrower Communication:
Assist in ongoing communication with borrowers in the loan portfolio and potential new borrowers.
Investment Banking Services
Data Collection:
Assist in collecting data from clients to assist in valuation discussions and preparation of Sale Memorandums.
Create Target Lists:
Assist in the drafting of target buyer lists from proprietary database.
Draft Sale Memorandums:
Assist in the drafting of Sale Memorandums for new buy or sell-side engagements.
Client and Buyer Communication:
Provide ongoing communication with buyers and clients during the marketing and sale process.
Diligence Preparation:
Collect documentation, organize and structure virtual due diligence room for the due diligence process.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
2+ years of work in a correlated field preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of billboard or communication tower industries is ideal, however, real estate, title or legal background is sufficient.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and WORD, financial modeling, proficient with spreadsheet and database management, strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfort and experience with using AI tools for productivity is a plus.
Multitask:
An ability to simultaneously juggle multiple tasks with accuracy.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies, accurately develop formulas and financial models, and self-proof work.
Independence:
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, organizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
High Integrity:
