As the Assistant Controller, you’ll play a key role in overseeing fund accounting operations and supporting financial reporting to investors. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to drive efficiency, strengthen internal processes, and ensure timely, accurate results. This role includes mentoring and developing junior staff, managing external relationships with service providers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that position the business for long‑term success.
The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, ideally with a background in alternative investments, financial services, or Big 4 public accounting. A CPA is required, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset will all be critical for success in this role.
