Our client, the food industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Quality Assurance Tech
Location:
Jacksonville, FL
Pay Range:
Starting at $17, with potential increase to $18 after 30-60 days based on performance
Shift:
6am to 5pm (or until finished), Monday through Thursday.
What's the Job?
Review quality assurance functions during production and pre-operations as needed
Inspect cleaning and sanitation of equipment to ensure compliance
Verify line setup, weights, viscosity, labeling, lot codes, and expiration dates
Conduct quality audits and isolate products that do not meet standards
Collect and retain QC samples according to schedule and maintain documentation
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent
Good math and organizational skills
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Willingness to learn and train in food/beverage industry standards
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
