The HR Generalist will serve as a department of one and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing company policies and procedures. This role oversees all core human resources functions, including employee relations, compensation and salary administration, payroll, benefits, training, and staffing. The HR Generalist will monitor trends and emerging developments within the human resources field and make recommendations aligned with organizational needs and best practices. This position works independently, exercising sound judgment to make decisions in the best interest of the organization, and reports directly to the HR Director.

Ensure Amcor Principles, Values and Behaviors are effectively communicated, understood, and consistently applied.

Manage recruitment, compensation, performance management, and employee training and development programs

Develop, coordinate, and facilitate HR Training programs across the organization.

Manage payroll process and HRIS systems

Support HR initiatives including continuous improvement efforts and workforce management

Coach and counsel employees and leaders within the organization

Lead and participate in employee improvement teams to promote employee relations and encourage employee engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.

Minimum of 1-3 years of Human Resource experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to adjust work schedule to support all shifts.
