Pfizer is seeking a Senior Manager of Integrated Insights and Strategy (IIS) that will join a brand‑aligned team of internal consultants and brand strategists that partner with senior commercial leaders, as well as internal GCA (Global Commercial Analytics) COEs, to maximize business value and enable executional excellence.
Reporting to the IIS Rare Heme/Endo Team Lead, this person will design and execute best‑in‑class primary market research to represent the “voice of the customer” in support of the strategic recommendations of the team. The incumbent will be accountable for a >$1M research budget, proactively identify business questions, create learning plans, manage multiple simultaneous research initiatives, and deliver clear, actionable insights‑based recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic thought partnership to US and Global commercial teams, shaping insights‑based decisions.
Act as partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to commercial strategy using primary research.
Design and execute innovative market research studies, serving as the voice of the customer for the brand strategy team.
Develop and maintain an in‑house knowledge base to drive patient and HCP insights.
Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance marketing campaign effectiveness.
Recommend campaign improvements and corrective actions; evaluate assets to ensure optimal customer experience.
Lead commercial performance reporting & tracking, building and standardizing the commercial reporting ecosystem.
Collaborate with other GCA teams to align activities, share expertise, and adapt global strategies for performance metrics.
Partner with analytics functions to advance novel data sources and reporting (RWD, Data Science, etc.).
Translate reporting insights into compelling stories, delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Manage research projects, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional teams.
Provide technical consulting on analytical methods and tools.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (MS/MBA preferred).
6+ years in consulting, market research, or market analytics.
Experience framing, designing, and executing solutions for complex business situations.
In‑depth knowledge of multiple research methodologies with strong output quality and timely insight delivery.
Proven track record as an indispensable thought partner to brand leaders, influencing without authority.
Team‑oriented, collaborative, with outstanding listening and influence skills.
Exceptional intellectual curiosity and innovative mindset.
Executive demeanor, strong oral and written presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and drive change.
Effective communication of complex ideas.
Leadership experience coaching and guiding colleagues toward impactful outcomes.
Technical Skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical and coding skills (Python, R, SQL, etc.), MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Expertise in quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.
Experience designing and managing secondary data analytics.
Knowledge of innovative techniques for monitoring, simulating, and analyzing complex data sets.
Ability to assess vendor technical capabilities and manage risks.
Project management and organizational skills in cross‑functional teams.
Business and financial acumen.

Work location: Flexible; 2–3 days onsite/week.

The annual base salary ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. The position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of base salary and a long‑term incentive program.
