Senior Manager, Integrated Insights and Strategy, Sickle Cell Disease Insights
Pfizer is seeking a Senior Manager of Integrated Insights and Strategy (IIS) that will join a brand-aligned team of internal consultants and brand strategists that partner with senior commercial leaders, as well as internal GCA (Global Commercial Analytics) COEs, to maximize business value and enable executional excellence. This person will be responsible for designing and executing best-in-class primary market research to represent the "voice of the customer" in support of the strategic recommendations of the team. This person will be accountable for a >$1M market research budget and be responsible for proactively identifying business questions, creating learning plans to address those questions, designing and managing multiple simultaneous research initiatives, and delivering clear and actionable insights-based recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic thought partnership to US and Global commercial teams to drive insights-based decisions.
Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics, using primary market research.
Design and execute innovative market research studies, serving as voice of the customer for the brand strategy team.
Develop and execute the creation of in‑house knowledge base to drive patient and HCP insights.
Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of a brand’s marketing campaign.
Recommend campaign improvement and corrective actions, and evaluate campaign assets to ensure optimal customer experience steeped in deep customer insights.
Actively contribute to the advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership and share knowledge with other colleagues.
Provide thought partnership in building and standardizing commercial reporting ecosystem and act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to organization‑wide performance reporting.
Lead identification of information needs and development of project plans to address those needs.
Connect reporting insights together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Collaboration With Other Analytics Teams
Align with other GCA teams to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders.
Actively contribute to advancement of capabilities through thought leadership; share knowledge and expertise with colleagues using knowledge sharing platform.
Partner with other analytic functions to advance the use of novel data sources and reporting, including RWD, data science, etc.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field required; MS or MBA preferred.
6+ years in consulting, market research, or market analytics.
Defined involvement in helping frame, design & execute solutions for challenging business situations.
In‑depth knowledge of multiple innovative research methodologies in the pharmaceutical industry with a keen understanding of output and quality/timely insight derivation.
Proven track record of being an indispensable thought partner to brand leaders and influencing without authority.
Team‑orientation and collaborative approach; outstanding listening skills and the ability to manage through influence.
Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity, a creative visionary who can foster innovation.
Sophisticated executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at high levels of organizations; excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and to influence and drive change.
Strong analytical, coding, and data management skills (Python, R, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint).
Technical Skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical, coding skills (Python, R, SQL, etc.), MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong reporting and analytical skills to synthesize and validate inputs and communicate the story to commercial leadership.
Known subject‑matter expert for quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.
Extensive experience in the design and management of secondary data analytics.
Experience using innovative techniques to monitor, simulate, and analyze complex data sets.
Ability to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process.
Flexibility, priority setting, ambiguity tolerance, and leadership through complex cross‑functional projects.
Expertise in connecting, integrating, and synthesizing analysis into meaningful insights to drive clear strategic recommendations.
Other Job Details
Work location: Flexible; 2‑3 days onsite/week.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00.
Eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to a share‑based long‑term incentive program.
Benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, retirement savings contribution, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, caregiving and medical leave, and comprehensive health coverage.
