Position Title
Systems Engineer
Location Chantilly, VA
Security Clearance Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph.
Compensation Up to $200,000.00 per year
Core Hours 9am to 4pm
Primary Responsibilities
This role delivers an innovative product, service, or a combination of products and services that address a customer’s specific requirements.
Support the development of enterprise software solutions within the customer’s cloud environments.
This role provides execution guidance and practical engineering support to mission teams.
Mandatory Requirements
Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
SME (16+ years’ experience)
BS degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience
Must have experience with cloud providers such as AWS
Experience in Platform engineering
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Working with the team’s security engineer to address and mitigate security findings stemming from system security scans
Performing regular maintenance of cloud infrastructure resources, to include patching, configuration, upgrading as needed
Experience interacting with cross functional project teams including Software Development System Engineering, Security Compliance, and Quality Assurance
Optional Requirements
Demonstratable working experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Packer
Demonstratable working experience with containers (i.e., Docker/Podman) or their orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
Demonstratable working experience with serverless platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda)
Experience with security accreditation process
Experience working in Agile, SAFe, and Scrum environments
