Job Description: A Maintenance Mechanic's responsibilities include keeping all production machinery in a "ready for service" condition by performing preventative maintenance, as scheduled by our maintenance management software, as well as taking care of day-to-day maintenance issues.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Repair & maintain all plant machinery & equipment
Diagnose machine malfunctions & operating difficulties
Determine need for & effect machine repairs & adjustments to maintain a reliable operation
Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc.
Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
Minimum Requirements
All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 2+ years in maintenance work required
Hard Skills
Basic knowledge & skills in pneumatics, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging, equipment installation, machine rebuilding, motor & drive alignment, measuring equipment & fabrication
Read blueprints
Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment & procedures
Basic computer skills
Basic math knowledge
English reading, writing, & speaking proficiency
