Principal Test Engineer Manufacturing Design
Raytheon invites applications for the Principal Test Engineer – Manufacturing Design position. The role is based onsite at our Tucson, AZ facility (AZ802: RMS AP Bldg 802 1151 East Hermans Road Building 802, Tucson, AZ, 85756 USA) and requires U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

What You Will Do
Serve as the manufacturing test authority within the program.
Apply test engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to optimize and mature the manufacturing test strategy.
Improve product testability by collaborating with a multi‑disciplined team, identifying and resolving test constraints across the program.
Leverage knowledge and technical skills to influence business decisions from new designs through transition to production.
Design, control, and improve the testability of products in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
Develop influential relationships with internal customers.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience engaging with programs, factories, and/or organizational leadership regarding manufacturing test strategy decisions.
Ability to communicate technical information to varied audiences.
Capacity to work on programs requiring special program access.
Qualifications We Prefer
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience developing test flows and contributing to test capacity analysis.
Experience participating in test time reduction efforts and test yield improvements.
Innovative mindset driving continuous improvement and keeping pace with technology advances.
Ability to identify, reduce, and eliminate cost, quality, and schedule constraints through technical engagements.
Proven written, oral, and presentation communication and organizational skills.
Current DoD security clearance (Secret).
