Opportunity Overview We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our global procurement team. The
Commodity Manager
role will focus on procurement of electronic component categories, encompassing the sourcing, negotiation, contracting and purchasing of these essential components for controlling and managing electrical circuits that are directly part of the end products we design and manufacture.
Categories include but are not limited to relays, resistors, microcontrollers, and switches.
You are the ideal candidate as a highly versatile team player with a strong grasp of global sourcing practices, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship management, and contractual risk mitigation. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across regions and business units to drive value, innovation, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead sourcing initiatives across multiple electronic component categories, ensuring alignment with business goals and global procurement strategy
Develop strategies and execute end-to-end strategic sourcing process including internal/external analysis, supplier benchmarking, and stakeholder engagement
Conduct competitive bidding (RFPs/RFQs), analyze supplier responses, create supplier scorecards, and facilitate discussions with business decision-makers
Negotiate and draft commercial terms and contracts, ensuring favorable pricing, service levels, and risk mitigation.
Support management team on cross-functional project coordination and internal process compliance with corporate policies
Manage supplier performance in conjunction with business stakeholders including issue resolution, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and innovation across procurement practices.
Stay current with industry trends, category developments, and global supply market conditions.
Maintain relationships with potential and existing suppliers, coordinate supplier presentations and periodic reviews
Monitor and report on sourcing outcomes and savings, historical trends and supplier risks periodically

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations or related field. Degree in Engineering, MA/MS Supply Chain Management or MBA a plus.
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in sourcing in a technology-based product environment including:
Ability to perform and influence in a cross functional manner
Supplier Negotiations
Cost Reduction
Commodity Strategy Development
Contract writing, supplier qualification
Experience working in a global product company
Direct experience in Semiconductors is a plus
Possess a strong desire to learn, influence and exhibit intellectual curiosity
We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation The base salary range for this role is $85,800-$137,300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
