Family Law Paralegal
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic and growing legal team. This is a permanent, full‑time position in which you will play an integral role in our legal operations. You will work closely with our attorneys to provide comprehensive paralegal support, focusing primarily on family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and spousal support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to delve deep into the realm of family law and make a significant impact on our clients' lives.

Base Pay Range $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, and attend when necessary.
Conduct thorough legal research and factual investigation to assist in case preparation.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
Organize and maintain case files to ensure information is kept in order and is easily accessible.
Facilitate the meeting of attorneys’ deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders.
Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and maintain a high level of customer service.
Coordinate and manage discovery process, including drafting requests and responses, organizing documents, and maintaining discovery databases.
Conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with the client to keep them informed of status and function of the legal assistant.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law.
Advanced knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
Excellent research and report‑writing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using legal database software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Must be able to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as dictated by the legal profession.
Paralegal certification from an ABA‑approved institution is preferred.
