Transformation Leader (Contract) – Assistant Vice President or Senior Manager

The EXL Transformation Leader role is on a 1-year contract, good candidates can be offered a full-time role anytime in the period including pre-joining the role. A top candidate should be able to manage the “transform” agenda for an EXL executive leader (in Analytics vertical) that include – financial governance for 20+ client accounts, compliance adherence, staffing and P&L optimization, communication and leadership enablement.
Two critical aspects of this role:
Act as a Management Consultant and design high quality presentations and storylines for senior leadership.
Work with respective EXL business units (BPO, Payment, Data management etc.) enabling large and cross functional deals.
The candidate is also responsible / would be supported by a PMO team of 10+ members to enable them to deliver.
Responsibilities:
Drive Account Strategy & Executive Storytelling: Partner closely with vertical leadership to shape account strategies, develop executive-ready strategy decks, and support client growth, renewals, and expansion initiatives.
Enable large and cross-functional deals – work with other business units and the growth team to make this happen.
Drive Operational Rigor: Establish and enforce financial and compliance governance, KPIs, escalation mechanisms, and performance management frameworks to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Influence Without Authority: Mobilize and align cross-functional teams, contractors, and partners across geographies to deliver against shared objectives, even in high-pressure environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Industrial Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in delivery leadership, operations management, or consulting within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial domains.
Demonstrated experience supporting account management, executive presentations, and strategy development in partnership with senior leadership.
Deep understanding of portfolio governance, metrics-driven performance management, escalation handling, and client engagement frameworks.
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior client and internal leaders under pressure.
High degree of autonomy, resilience, and problem-solving capability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Base Salary Range Disclaimer:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the EXL base salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location and experience. The base salary range listed is just one component of EXL's total compensation package for employees.
