Impact You’ll Make in this Role The person hired will manage the Little Rock Arch Street plant quarry and provide supervisory support for manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include driving safety, quality, service, productivity and employee engagement, promoting a culture of flexibility, collaboration, continuous improvement and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Driving world‑class safety culture into daily operations
Leading cross‑functional teams and programs to drive continuous improvement
Driving sustainable improvements in factory cost through Lean Six Sigma, entitlement thinking, yield improvement and plant productivity
Tracking key metrics in the manufacturing process and communicating results to employees and management
Ensuring compliance with corporate and governmental safety, health and environmental rules, policies and procedures
Accountable for delivering improved results in EHS, quality, supply chain performance, cost and employee relations
Living 3M values in all interactions with the plant population and the community
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting within a private, public, government or military environment
Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a public, government or military environment
Current valid driver’s license
Additional Qualifications
Five (5) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution
Experience in quarry or mining operations
Demonstrated strong leadership ability
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Ability to develop people and build a culture of trust and cooperation
Excellent verbal and written skills
Logistics
Work Location: This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work 5 days a week at the 3M Little Rock, AR
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Compensation & Benefits Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $109,202 - $133,469, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate. Additional benefits may include Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits.
