Drive a world‑class safety culture into daily operations Lead cross‑functional teams and programs to drive continuous improvement Drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through Lean Six Sigma, entitlement thinking, yield improvement, and plant productivity Track key metrics in the manufacturing process and communicate to employees and management Assure compliance with corporate and governmental safety, health and environmental rules, policies, and procedures Accountable to deliver improved results in EHS, Quality, Supply Chain Performance, Cost, and Employee Relations Live 3M values through all interactions with the plant population and the community Company Vehicle: This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position. Skills and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting in a private, public, government or military environment Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a public, government or military environment Current Valid Driver’s license Additional Qualifications
Five (5) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Experience in quarry or mining operation Demonstrated strong leadership ability Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Ability to develop people and build a culture of trust and cooperation Excellent verbal and written skills Work location
This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work 5 days a week at the 3M Little Rock, AR Travel: May include up to 10% domestic Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
