Exposure to static linear, non-linear simulations using all types of non-linearity
Ability to converge non-linear FE models
Bolt joint analysis
Ability to create FE methodology as per requirements
Fundamentals of machine design and Strength of Materials should be known
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsible to review and discuss results with designers
Tool Knowledge
Structural Analysis: Hypermesh, HyperView, optiStruct/Abaqus
Fatigue Assessment: TFAT, FEMFAT, nCode
