Assistant Leasing Manager
to join our military housing team at
Fort Drum, NY . In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of the leasing staff and day-to-day operations of the Leasing Center to achieve property's occupancy and income objectives. The pay range for this role is $16.00-$18.00 per hour dependent on experience. Additionally, this position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL ID Act, effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver’s license/ID is required in order to access the federal facility. Responsibilities Assist with leading and managing leasing consultant team. Manage operational procedures ensuring potential residents are promptly qualified and placed on the appropriate wait lists. Manage and maintain multiple waitlists. Resolve customer issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company. Complete assigned reports. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Guidelines. Serve as leasing consultant and perform leasing functions as necessary. Promote and practice incident-injury free (IIF) and sustainability. Represent the property in a professional manner. Ensure all information provided to prospective residents is accurate. Supervise and manage the "scrubbing" of all wait lists to ensure that applicants who are no longer valid applicants are removed from the lists to maintain an accurate, working wait list to support maximization of occupancy. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 years of relevant work experience. A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy. Experience with various computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Ability to mitigate conflict. Excellent follow-up and organization skills This position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL ID Act, effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver's license/ID is required in order to access the federal facility. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in a business-related field. 1-3 years of direct property management experience. Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or management experience. Experience working with waitlists and the reassignment and relocation of families into military housing.
