What you’ll do
Deliver and pick up materials as directed to and from the shop, job sites, and suppliers
Complete required log and maintenance records to ensure the delivery vehicle and trailer meet DOT requirements
Assist with receiving and handling material for fabrication and site staging
Load and unload the truck/trailer in shop and field environments, using ratchet straps to secure and release the load
Assist in putting away materials and tools returned from job sites and the field in proper shop locations
Perform general equipment, vehicle, and building maintenance
Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
Attend work regularly and predictably and uphold Company values in all work aspects
Pass and maintain DOT physical requirements per Iowa Law
What you’ll need to have
High school diploma/equivalent
Valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability
Safely operate a pick‑up truck pulling a trailer into construction sites and other locations
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. frequently
Ability to get in and out of a 1‑ton truck frequently, work on and around the trailer
Ability to operate a fork‑lift and be licensed after hire
Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills
Work well in a team environment
Problem‑solving abilities
Ability to read and understand product information
Understanding and application of general math and measuring skills
Inventory, receiving, and material handling experience is helpful
Self‑starter with good time management and organizational skills
