Senior Mechanical Engineer – Butte, Montana
Job Description
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion.
Generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare design specifications, analyses, and make recommendations for presentation to management for approval.
Perform mechanical design for a broad range of prototype, pre‑commercial, and new commercial products in an advanced product development environment, emphasizing quality for demanding industrial manufacturing businesses.
Demonstrate solid technical leadership; preference given for experience designing products for manufacture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred).
6+ years of mechanical design experience.
Proficiency with SolidWorks.
Finite Element Analysis expertise (ANSYS preferred).
U.S. Citizen (required due to the nature of the work).
