Civil Engineer, EI - Water Resources and Environmental
We are seeking a full‑time Civil Engineer with a background or interest in water resources and environmental engineering. The position will be based in our Indianapolis office, with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater disciplines. Projects include treatment facilities, utility distribution, and stormwater and sanitary collection systems.
Responsibilities
Complete technical design, engineering calculations, and communications duties on various engineering projects, including treatment facilities, stormwater management for site projects and during construction, pump stations, and distribution/collection networks.
Collaborate with team members as well as work independently to constructively approach challenges and develop solutions.
Manage multiple tasks while ensuring timely completion.
Coordinate with technical personnel to develop construction documents and specifications under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines such as Environmental Engineering.
0-4 years of relevant work experience.
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and land development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Professional experience in engineering is a plus.
Experience with modeling software such as WaterCad, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, and ICPR is encouraged.
Desire to obtain Professional Engineer certification.
Strong verbal and writing skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.
