The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace. Role Purpose
The Human Resources Specialist & Data Analytics plays a dual role in promoting a fair, compliant, and engaged workplace while leveraging HR data to drive insight-based decision-making. This role is responsible for supporting policy adherence, and conducting investigations, while also managing HR metrics, analyzing trends, and preparing reports and visual presentations for leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related field required. 2-3 years of HR experience, including data analysis responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to conduct workplace investigations and advise on employee relations matters. Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts) and capable of using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or HRIS analytics modules. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership. Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $67,200.00-$92,400.00, assuming full-time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
