Position Summary: The MRO Tech will lead technical assignments supporting production, design, testing, and continuous improvement of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This includes aircraft power generation and distribution components.
Key Responsibilities (MRO Engineering):
Lead and support MRO engineering activities in compliance with FAA/EASA regulations (Title 14 CFR Parts 21, 43, 121, and 145).
Develop and improve repair and test procedures for aircraft components.
Train and advise MRO personnel on repair and testing techniques.
Review maintenance manuals and technical documentation to establish repair capabilities.
Design and prototype tooling for electromechanical and hydraulic product maintenance.
Specify and modify test equipment for various aircraft components.
Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to ensure compliance with Safran standards.
Draft major repair documentation for DER and PMA submittals.
Key Responsibilities (Production):
Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
Operate tools and machinery used in the production of helicopter parts.
Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, escalating complex problems to engineering teams.
Maintain accurate records of production activities and test results.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
