Telhio Credit Union, founded in 1934, began as a credit union for Columbus Telephone Company (now AT&T) employees. Now it serves over 70,000 member‑owners throughout Central and Southwest Ohio, and is one of the largest credit unions in the state. About Our Position As a Relationship Banker you will uncover and satisfy member needs, act as a trusted advisor, and provide the “One Telhio” solution. You will work full time, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm, with rotating Saturdays 9 am‑1 pm.
Responsibilities
Perform all transactions in DNA accurately and efficiently (cash withdrawals, deposits, loan payments)
Process credit‑card payments in our third‑party portal
Process all IRA/HSA transactions in Ascensus
Open IRAs and HSAs in Ascensus
Process member requests for wires, as needed
Inform members about products, services, and current promotions
Cross‑sell credit‑union products by answering inquiries and directing customers to lobby and partner representatives
Comply with all Telhio policies, procedures, and regulations
Maintain member confidence and protect credit‑union operations by keeping information confidential
Balance cash drawers accurately
Participate in dual‑control functions and security procedures
Assist in audits as requested
Open all consumer accounts in DNA
Perform account maintenance for consumer and business members
Process disputes for consumer and business members
Close loans when needed, for members in branch
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Associate’s Degree (Preferred)
1‑3 years of experience in member/customer service (Required)
1‑3 years of experience in financial services (Preferred)
Notary License (Upon hire/Required)
NMLS Designation (Upon hire/Required)
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management
Attention to detail
Background check required (credit, drug screen, bonding, criminal history)
