Key Responsibilities
Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders’ conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (i.e., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
Position requires special access to support the program and requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen.
Desired Skills
Master’s degree from an accredited college.
Experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers.
Positivity and enthusiasm for every project; collaborative team player.
Demonstrated exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—to persuade and motivate action.

Compensation The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $47,000 – $82,915. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Salary information is a general guideline. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Work Schedules Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour week to condensed schedules providing additional time away from the office. The schedule for this position is 9‑x‑80 with every other Friday off.
Work Location Onsite Full‑time: The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
