As a Compliance Support Manager you will create, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with clients. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving any issues that arise with our clients and ensure our clients are satisfied with our services. You will create, review and distribute clients’ financials. You will interface with clients as needed. You will also develop and distribute emails, letters, and other correspondence regarding problem resolutions, product and service features and upgrades, company changes, welcome packs, and other materials for new and existing customers. As a tax professional, you will be responsible for preparing complex business and individual tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Building and maintaining relationships with client and key personnel within the client's company.
Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they satisfied.
Defining the main objectives of each clients' project, purpose and scope. also identify key internal and external stakeholders, discuss shared expectations, and gain the required authorization necessary to move a project forward.
Ability to answer advanced questions by using Business Analytics, tools and software.
Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs while maintaining timelines and deadlines.
Outline key deliverables and milestones and identify the tasks that must be completed.
Manage the work identified to reach the goals of the project and client's needs.
Conduct meeting with the team to assign the necessary work to ensure that tasks are completed as scheduled and promised to the client.
Communicate with the client and team regarding any project delays, while maintaining timelines and meeting deadlines.
Manage, monitor and control the entire life of a client's project and review final product/work.
Update systems, platforms and applications regarding the client and projects.
Prepare sales contracts for potential prospects while ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines. Ensure bot the the company and client adhere to contract terms.
Act as point of contact for complaints and elevate issues as appropriate.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Study competitors to find new ways to retain customers.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations as needed.
Conduct business reviews/surveys to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.
Conduct audits to validate financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure all financial operations comply with statutory legislation and regulations.
Assist in budgeting, tax strategy and financial planning processes, helping clients make informed financial decisions.
Deep understanding of tax laws and accounting principles.
Minimum Required Education & Experience
5-10 years experience as a Bookkeeper and Accountant
Deep knowledge of tax preparation and tax returns - both business and individual
Preferred Education & Experience
5-10 years experience as a Bookkeeper and Account in multiple industries
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Valid CPA or Enrolled Agent Status
Additional Qualifications/Soft Skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision
Written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Accounting software and tools
Analytical ability to assess financial data and identify areas for improvement
