What do you get to do in this position? Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, safety, and performance. Here are the typical job duties for a Quality Control Inspector:

Responsibilities

Inspect products and materials: Examine raw materials, components, and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications.

Document inspection results: Record findings and maintain detailed inspection reports; note any non-conformances and communicate them to relevant departments.

Ensure compliance: Verify that products meet industry standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements; follow ISO, Schneider Electric Standards, or other applicable quality standards.

Support continuous improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA); suggest improvements to inspection procedures or product design.

Candidate profile

Conducting in-process, final, and incoming inspections.

Experience with non-conformance reporting (NCR) and quality audits.

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Good computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Sponsorship:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, OPT, CPT), relocation, or visa support to work in the United States now or in the future.

Reporting You will report to the Quality Control & Manufacturing Quality Engineer Lead. This role is an onsite position. You are required to report to the Red Oak, TX facility 5 days a week.

Qualifications

High School Diploma

2+ years of experience in quality inspection

Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

Experience with basic computer skills

Proficiency in written and spoken English
