58026IFB4834 Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) This contract position will support an assessment of the current IT server environment, cataloging, and classifying applications and systems. This initiative will lead to a deliverable of a Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR) support package, narrative justification, cost projections, implementation timelines, and recommended sequencing for a multi-year modernization effort, with all documentation targeted to support the FY26–27 LAR submission cycle.
Responsibilities
Provides strategic oversight and ensures alignment with agency priorities and statewide standards.
Monitors scope, risks, and interdependencies across modernization workstreams.
Supports executive-level communication and decision-making.
Ensures all deliverables are structured to support the LAR process.
The working position is Telework.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in recent information technology program management
Experience successfully delivering information technology application development and infrastructure projects
Experience leading meetings with project stakeholders
Experience completing tasks accurately, on-time with minimal supervision
Experience cooperating with others in a team environment
Experience making mature, objective decisions and identifying areas of potential problems
Experience independently performing a variety of complicated tasks
