Job Title Survey Project Manager

Company Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc.

Location Atlanta, GA

Base Pay Range $135,000 – $155,000 per year

Responsibilities

Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.

Prepare site surveys and field work.

Retain or acquire SIT or LS license.

Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software.

Experience with GIS platforms, Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post-processing), scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies.

Be registered in Georgia as a Land Surveyor or able to become registered within a year.

Maintain a record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys.

Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.

Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.

Have project management experience.

Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.

Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia (other state licenses desirable).

Experience with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

10+ years managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.

8+ years of experience in land surveying.

Current SIT license.

107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus.

Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Carlson.

LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus.

Experience with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.

Knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable.

Valid driver’s license and insurability.
