Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is hiring a Survey Project Manager.
Compensation Base pay range: $135,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr.
Salary will be based on experience and discussed in interview.
Relocation assistance or sign‑on bonus available.
Location Atlanta, GA.
Job Title Survey Project Manager
Duties / Responsibilities
Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
Prepare proposals and estimates.
Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software.
Experience with GIS platforms.
Experience with Robotic Total Stations and GPS (including post-processing).
Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies.
Registered in Georgia or ability to become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor.
Demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys.
Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Participate in pre‑survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations and Accura Engineering procedures.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience preferred; two‑year degree plus experience acceptable.
Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia; other states licenses are desirable.
GDOT experience required.
10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
8+ years of experience in land surveying.
SIT license.
107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus.
Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson.
LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus.
Experience with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.
Knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable.
Valid driver’s license and insurable.
