Product Manager – Contract
Akkodis is seeking a Product Manager for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. You will drive modernization initiatives by identifying opportunities for simplification and enhanced risk decisioning.
Rate $46/hour to $48/hour (rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
Responsibilities
Identify and drive modernization opportunities, including simplification, consolidation, and performance improvements.
Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for risk and authorization features.
Collaborate with Risk Technology, Network teams, and Enterprise Architecture to shape long‑term platform capabilities.
Lead migration planning, including dependency assessment, sequencing, and operational readiness.
Manage execution through Agile ceremonies, backlog prioritization, and release planning across multiple migration phases.
Coordinate functional testing, performance validation, and end‑to‑end readiness assessments to ensure high‑quality delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in payments, risk systems, or platform modernization.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional programs with complex dependencies and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Strong experience in Agile development environments and a data‑driven mindset for defining KPIs and driving decisions.
