Product Manager – SmartSuite (HR Technology, B2B SaaS)

Role Summary Our client is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our SmartSuite platform—a suite of tools designed for large-scale, hourly hiring needs. This role is central in translating recruiter and operator challenges into actionable product roadmaps, ensuring best-in-class user experiences across applicant tracking, AI-powered scoring, onboarding, and automation workflows. The ideal candidate combines strong product lifecycle expertise with technical fluency and a passion for creating solutions that directly impact speed-to-hire and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Define and manage product OKRs, driving measurable business outcomes.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of SmartSuite, from roadmap to delivery.
Design and optimize mobile-first candidate application experiences.
Leverage analytics and experimentation frameworks to validate decisions.
Specify APIs and lead product/system integrations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science/ML, Legal/Compliance, and Go-To-Market teams.
Engage with end-users directly, including onsite ride-alongs with hiring managers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
5–8 years of experience as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years in HR technology or recruiting automation.
Proven track record of building and scaling workflow products with measurable business impact.
Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in metrics definition, database querying (SQL/Sheets), instrumentation (Amplitude/Mixpanel), and experimentation.
Technical proficiency in APIs, webhooks, data modeling, and machine learning fundamentals.
Skilled in writing clear and actionable Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
