Security Officer - Flex Gate Driver
in
Claycomo, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. As a Flex Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Your duties will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, deterring security‑related incidents, and providing excellent customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate clearly with all visitors and staff.

What You’ll Do
Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and/or security‑related incidents.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors in accordance with site‑specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter security‑related concerns.
Document and report any security‑related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities observed during shifts.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following instructions and site‑specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
