About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE project to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace across our organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE management systems and policies aligned with local and international standards
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels
Manage and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization
Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to senior management
Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HSE metrics
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in HSE management
Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company in HSE-related matters
Travel to various work sites as needed to ensure consistent implementation of HSE practices
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH), or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in industrial or construction settings
In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment techniques, and incident investigation methodologies
Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations and standards
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE practices
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights
Strong leadership and team management skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to HSE management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HSE management software
Ability to develop and implement effective HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals
Experience in managing and mentoring HSE teams
Willingness to travel to various work sites as needed
