About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Traction Power/SCADA Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the traction power and SCADA systems for our transportation network.

Design, implement, and maintain traction power systems for railway or metro operations

Develop and manage SCADA systems to ensure efficient monitoring and control of power distribution

Analyse system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency

Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in traction power systems

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate traction power and SCADA systems with other railway subsystems

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications and operating procedures

Manage projects related to traction power and SCADA system upgrades or expansions

Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards

Provide technical expertise and training to team members and stakeholders

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 12 years' experience in traction power systems or a related field

Extensive knowledge of SCADA systems, particularly in the transportation or energy sector

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and power distribution systems

Proficiency in control systems design and implementation

Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills

Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical reports

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex technical projects

In-depth knowledge of railway or metro systems and their power requirements

Familiarity with power distribution networks and control and automation systems

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
