Project/Program Coordinator - Oncology

* Manages research and operations scheduling, including updating the team calendars.* Administers/prepares reports, minutes, correspondence, lectures and administrative materials.* Maintains and updates PI CV and Biosketch.* Assists with procurement requests.* Develops budget reports including a template for costs incurred.* Submit travel expenses/expense reports and other clerical functions when needed.* Assists with arranging travel for PI and staff including developing itinerary, reserving flights and lodging, and assisting with visa applications.* Assists with IRB submissions and other compliance-related tasks.* Assist with dissemination of project findings, including preparing summaries, presenting at scientific conferences, and participating in preparation of manuscripts.* Assist with development of study Standard Operating Procedures.* Assist with organization of the Global Oncology Symposium, including drafting agenda, inviting speakers, and marketing the program.* Coordinate submission and review process for symposium abstracts.* Assists with updating Global Oncology Initiative website and social media sites.* Works with training coordinator in Kenya to update fellow handbook.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Provides administrative/operational oversight of assigned program/project.* Develops project/program goals, objectives and plans in collaboration with management.* Oversees implementation of project plan, monitor, track and evaluate progress.* Assists in development/management of department budget/finances.* May manage/oversee work of staff and/or student workers.* Conducts research, collect/analyze data, oversee data entry.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Normal office environment.* Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations.* Up to 22 days of vacation, 10 recognized holidays, and sick time.* Competitive health insurance packages with priority appointments and lower copays/coinsurance.* Take advantage of our free Metro transit U-Pass for eligible employees.* WashU provides eligible employees with a defined contribution (403(b)) Retirement Savings Plan, which combines employee contributions and university contributions starting at 7%.* WashU covers the cost of tuition for you and your family, including dependent undergraduate-level college tuition up to 100% at WashU and 40% elsewhere after seven years with us.Washington University in St. Louis' collective success is significantly attributed to the passion and outstanding efforts of our community.
