Seeking an experienced tax preparer/bookkeeper for a local professional CPA firm. The role involves preparing income tax returns, managing client questions, providing customer service, and handling year‑long payroll and bookkeeping duties.
Responsibilities
Prepare income tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
Manage client inquiries and deliver high‑quality customer service.
Process payroll throughout the year and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
Qualifications
3–5 years of bookkeeping or CPA experience, including payroll preparation.
Experience in tax preparation.
College degree preferred.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, tax software (Lacerte) and accounting software (QuickBooks).
Detail‑oriented, task‑focused, with excellent communication skills.
