Job Description

Join a leading advanced material provider known for its technologically advanced fiber reinforcements and prepregs, serving diverse markets such as aerospace, defense, energy, industrial, and protective sectors. With operations spanning North America and Europe, you will work at a site in Charlotte, specializing in the manufacture of soft armor. Responsibilities

Set up and operate all U.D. equipment including creel, chemical mixing, and UD line. Mix water-based chemicals while following safe work practices. Visually inspect products as they run and make adjustments to ensure the fabric meets all quality and customer specifications. Transfer products to the next process using hoists and/or pallet jacks. Identify and repair machine malfunctions and troubleshoot problems, seeking additional support when necessary. Perform basic preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Enter data into the ERP system. Essential Skills

Experience as a Machine Operator, Machine Helper, or Machine Technician. Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues. Proficiency in entering data into ERP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Belt Laminator Operator: Basic machine setup, minimal troubleshooting, strong computer skills. Cross Ply Operator: Machine setup, adjustments, and extensive troubleshooting. Finisher: Open to entry-level Machine Operating experience. Why Work Here?

Work 12-hour shifts on a 2x2x3 schedule in a very clean, climate-controlled facility. All night shift positions will train on the day shift (7am-7pm) for 6-8 weeks. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.27 - $22.27/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
