Workflow Coordinator
Elwood, IL | $21.63 - $26.44 per hour + $0.50 shift differential | 2nd Shift (Monday‑Friday 2:00 PM‑10:30 PM) | Full‑time
About the Role Your mission: keep our warehouse operations running smoothly. You’ll analyze challenges, prioritize tasks, and ensure every shipment flows efficiently. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy teamwork, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Optimize workflow by monitoring and adjusting work assignments for maximum efficiency.
Allocate inventory for outbound shipments while balancing availability, and address stockouts, discrepancies, and order exceptions.
Partner with yard spotters to ensure seamless dock operations and smooth transitions between inbound and outbound shipments.
Act as the bridge between teams, keeping leadership informed and collaborating with cross‑functional groups to keep everything on track.
Tackle additional duties as needed within your training and expertise.
What We’re Looking For
1‑3 years of experience in warehouse operations, dispatch, or production planning.
Tech‑savvy: experience with WMS (Blue Yonder/Korber/AS400) and basic computer skills (Excel, Google Suite).
Detail‑oriented & analytical with strong problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communicator capable of delegating tasks and collaborating effectively.
Adaptable & organized, thriving in a fast‑paced environment and handling challenges with ease.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic every day.
Reliable and dependable for the team.
Bonus Points If You Have
An associate’s degree or college coursework.
Experience with JDA WMS.
A solid understanding of warehouse operations.
