Location: Hawley, MN. We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our flexible staffing model, allowing you to choose your schedule while providing excellent patient care as an integral part of the dental team.
Base Pay Range $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Assess and document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for optimal treatment plans
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Open Dental and other dental software
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment
Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene
Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License
2-4 years of clinical experience preferred
Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification
Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location)
Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and company regulations
Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems
Valid driver’s license (based on clinic location) and willingness to travel as needed
