Salary $2,056.00 - $2,455.00 per Month
Location San Diego County, Veterans Home of California – Chula Vista
Job Type Permanent, Part Time – 1/2 Time
Work Shift Thursday‑Saturday; 9 am‑4 pm (Thu/Fri) & 8:30 am‑4 pm (Sat)
Responsibilities
Operate and service passenger vehicles, trucks, small‑wheeled tractors, and similar motor equipment.
Complete general laboring work.
Instruct, lead or supervise resident workers as required.
Perform other related work and adhere to State and Federal laws, policies and procedures.
Work overtime as required.
Minimum Requirements
Class A or B California Driver's License.
Pass required examination for Automotive Equipment Operator I.
Meet all minimum qualifications listed in the Class Specification.
Successful completion of a live scan and a pre‑employment physical, including drug testing for certain civil service classifications.
Working Conditions Employees will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.
