Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments to identify nutrition needs and develop individualized meal plans
Collaborate with healthcare team to implement nutrition plans and monitor patient progress
Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition
Stay up to date with latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate into practice
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field
Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient nutrition and education, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, is preferred but not required.
Registered Dietician (RD) or eligible for registration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
Compassionate and patient-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
Minimum Years of Experience: 1-2 years, with a strong foundation in nutrition and healthcare. We will train if needed and if you plan on getting License within a week of hire.
