Hillcrest Hospital South, a full‑service 180‑bed facility in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting‑edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high‑quality training for nurses.
Utilizes nursing knowledge bases to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responds to life‑threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
Practices in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment, applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
Organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
Job Requirements
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Current Oklahoma RN license.
Must obtain and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
If ACLS certified upon hire, must maintain; otherwise, obtain certification within the first six months of employment and maintain.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience of 2 years on a cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).
NIHSS experience.
