Role Description This is a Per‑Diem on‑site role located Riverhead, NY, for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive respiratory care, assessing and treating patients with cardiopulmonary conditions; collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team; applying advanced respiratory therapy techniques; administering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; and ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Qualifications
Proficiency in cardiopulmonary and respiratory care techniques
Experience in providing respiratory therapy and caring for patients in neonatal intensive care
Strong knowledge of medical principles related to respiratory health and treatment
Ability to work effectively in a clinical team environment, with strong communication and patient care skills
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with professional licensure (RRT or CRT) is required
ACLS and BLS certification preferred
Experience in critical or intensive care settings is an asset
