A globally recognized medical technology organization is seeking a skilled
Facilities Maintenance Technician
to support a highly regulated, fast‑paced onsite manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with quality standards.
Hours & Pay
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime:
Occasional weekend and overtime requirements
Pay Rate:
Up to
$26.00 per hour
Employment Type:
Temporary with possible extension and potential temp‑to‑hire
What You’ll Do Each Day
Monitor controlled environments by performing daily checks of temperature, humidity, and static pressure
Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure compliance with production and safety requirements
Perform routine preventive maintenance, including changing HEPA prefilters and lighting
Conduct daily system rounds and respond to emergency maintenance needs
Coordinate HVAC and facility‑related work with third‑party service providers
Plan and coordinate installation of equipment and facility services, including plumbing, electrical, ventilation, DI water, and vacuum systems
Support relocation and setup of office furniture and equipment
Assist engineering teams with facilities‑related processes, methods, and improvements
Write, maintain, and follow documented procedures for equipment and facility systems
Support vendor service calls and assist with preventive maintenance work orders for production equipment
Participate in cross‑functional teams such as Safety, Margin Improvement, and Engineering initiatives
Ensure all work complies with quality systems, safety regulations, and internal procedures
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience
managing or maintaining facilities and/or warehouse environments
3+ years of experience
planning and ordering materials to support maintenance operations
Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands‑on approach
Ability to learn new systems, processes, and software
Comfortable working first shift with flexibility for overtime and weekends
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Ability to maintain compliance with quality and safety requirements
Preferred Experience
Experience managing teams with or without direct reporting authority
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Familiarity with systems such as BMRAM, Service Zone, or similar maintenance platforms
